Phase 1 · Build

Shopify Development in Pakistan

Stores built to load fast and convert, not just to look good in a theme preview. Product structure, checkout flow and search foundations handled before launch.

The real problem

A Good-Looking Store That Doesn’t Sell

Shopify makes launching easy. That’s its strength, and it’s why so many stores underperform — the platform will happily let you launch something professional-looking that converts at under half a percent.

The causes are consistent. A theme chosen for its homepage rather than its product page. Fourteen apps installed to solve small problems, each adding scripts to every page. Product descriptions copied from the supplier, so you’re competing against forty stores with identical text. Collection pages left empty, when they’re the pages with the most search potential.

A store should be built around the product page and the checkout. The rest is decoration.

The explainer

What Shopify Actually Costs Over Three Years

The monthly fee is the number everyone compares. It’s rarely the one that matters.

Subscription

From around PKR 8K to PKR 80K a month depending on plan.

Transaction fees

If you don’t use Shopify Payments, Shopify takes a percentage of every sale on top of your payment processor’s fee. At volume this becomes the largest line.

Apps

The real cost centre. Reviews, subscriptions, upsells, advanced search, loyalty: each PKR 3K to 15K a month. Stores commonly run eight to fifteen. Often more than the subscription itself.

Theme

PKR 40K to 100K one-off for a premium theme.

Over three years, apps and transaction fees usually exceed everything else combined. Worth modelling before you commit, and the main reason some businesses are better on WooCommerce.

Our position

Part of scoping is working out whether Shopify’s convenience is worth its running cost at your volume and margin. Sometimes clearly yes. Sometimes clearly not.

How it works

How Projects Actually Run

  1. Step 01 of 05

    Free audit and scope

We look at what exists, what’s working and what isn’t, then agree a written scope and fixed price before anything starts.

  2. Step 02 of 05

    Plan and structure

The decisions that matter get made first — architecture, targeting or process mapping depending on the work.

  3. Step 03 of 05

    Build or launch

Delivery, with everything documented as we go rather than at the end.

  4. Step 04 of 05

    Test and verify

Checked properly before it goes live, not after someone reports a problem.

  5. Step 05 of 05

    Measure and adjust

Reporting on what the work produced, with a call rather than just a document.

Not right if

Content marketing is central, margins are thin, or you need checkout customisation.

Where this fits

Build Is Phase One of Four

Phase01of 04Build

A build done properly makes everything after it cheaper.

Schema, clean structure and tracking installed at launch mean SEO in phase two starts on day one rather than spending six weeks on remediation. Forms built expecting a CRM mean phase three needs no rewiring. And content structured to be extractable is what the AI search work in phase two depends on.

How long does a Shopify build take?
Five to seven days for a small catalogue, one to two weeks for a typical store, three to four for larger builds.
Can you migrate from another platform?
Yes. The critical part is mapping every product and collection URL before launch so rankings survive.
Will I be able to add products myself?
Yes. Shopify’s admin is genuinely usable and training is included at handover.
How many apps will I need?
Fewer than you think. Apps are the most common cause of slow stores, so we audit whether each earns its place.
Do you build on Shopify Plus?
We can, but most businesses don’t need it. We’ll tell you honestly if you’re not there yet.
Can Shopify handle Pakistani payment methods?
Local gateway options are limited compared to international Shopify stores. We’ll cover what’s realistic during scoping.
Who owns the store?
You do. The account is in your name and billed to you from day one.
Shopify or WooCommerce?
Depends on margin, volume and who maintains it. The comparison is on both service pages, and we’ll run your numbers.
